The buses which start from the railway station turn at the roundanna junction in front of district collectorate and they head towards the bus stand in front of CMCH. Buses are operated to Town Hall, Poomarket, Sai Baba Colony, New bus stand, Thudiyalur, Press Colony and various other places from here.
The unregulated parking on this road is affecting motorists and pedestrians alike. Particularly bus drivers are finding it difficult to make a smooth turn at the roundabout here and this leads to traffic congestion in the area. Even pedestrians are getting affected due to this. The public demanded that the city police should regulate parking in the area and make the necessary traffic arrangements.
