The Nilgiris : The 40-acre Karnataka State Park and botanical gardens inaugurated in January 2018 at Ooty's Fernhill is getting spruced up to welcome tourists for the upcoming summer season.
Esatablished by the Horticultural department of Karnataka State, the park consists of glass house, flower beds and sprawling lawns.
According to reports, around 30 lakh tourists visit the Nilgiris, every year. Hence, this new tourist attraction is expected to grab the attention of the tourists, this summer.
Preparatory works are on at full swing to beautify the park along with plans to sell exotic flower saplings are also on the cards, say sources.
