Coimbatore: An unattended trolley found in Coimbatore Medical College Hospital premises today created panic amongst Hospital staff and visitors there. Things returned to normalcy after police and bomb squad assured there wasn’t anything unusual with the luggage.
Coimbatore: An unattended trolley found in Coimbatore Medical College Hospital premises today created panic amongst Hospital staff and visitors there. Things returned to normalcy after police and bomb squad assured there wasn’t anything unusual with the luggage.
A chained trolley was found unattended near the Eye speciality ward at CMCH today and the Hospital staff immediately alerted public and moved them from that place. Hospital staff alerted police and bomb squad immediately and they rushed to the spot. Bomb squad experts checked the baggage and assured that there weren’t any explosives in the bag. Police checked the contents of the bag and found only clothes and other personal materials.

On investigation, police found that the baggage belonged to Androse from Kottayam who was at the Hospital for treatment. Androse left the baggage there and went to another Ward for treatment. The presence of bomb squad panicked Hospital staff and others present there.
