Tirupur : Alleging hypocrisy, BJP State President Tamilisai Soundarajan asked why DMK Chief M.K Stalin didn’t greet people during Vinayaga Chathurthi while he has greeted them on Christmas.
Tamilisai Soundarajan was in Rakkipalayam near Tiruppur today to take part in former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary celebrations. She inaugurated the celebrations hoisting the party flag here. Tamilisai strongly criticized the ‘Karunsattai Perani’ organised by the TPDK. “This is spiritual soil, ‘Saffron’ soil and such rallies won’t influence people here. They are feared that ‘Lotus’ will bloom in this State hence such protests”, she said.
Criticising DMK Chief Stalin, Tamilisai Soundarajan said, “Stalin greets people on Christmas but not on Ganesha Chathurthi.” She added that the Congress-led Opposition front will not succeed and none has accepted Rahul Gandhi’s as Prime Ministerial candidate.
