Coimbatore : Minister for Local Administration, S.P Velumani inaugurated the newly laid 2.2 kilometre road between Palakkad main road and Puttu Vikki road, here today.
According to a statement, the 2.2 km road has been relaid at a cost of Rs.11.83 Crores and the road connects between Palakkad Main and Puttu Vikki Road via Sundakamuthur.
The Minister said that works are being carried to install streetlights and construct footpaths in the stretch at a cost of Rs.80 lakhs. Corporation Commissioner Dr.K. Vijayakarthikeyan and senior Corporation officials were also present during the event.
