"The lowest average temperature is recorded as 8 degree celsius and highest remains at 17 degree celsius in the day time. With holidays lining up and pleasant weather conditions suitable for sightseeing, the inflow of tourist is on a rise", says a shopkeeper at Ooty Charing Cross.
"Prominent tourists spots - boat house, botanical garden, Dolphin’s Nose, 7th mile, Pykara and Dodabetta have been thronged by the tourists. Hoteliers in the District of Nilgiris are expecting a considerable increase in tourist footfall in the coming days", he added.
