Over 100 youngsters from different organisations took part in the ‘Karunjsattai Perani’ from Urayur Road to Uzhavar Santhai here. The youth garlanded Periyar statue here and also danced to the tunes of Parai all along the rally. Organisations like May 17, Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam and various others took part in the event today. Periyar Remembrance Day celebrations will be held here tomorrow.
