The Nilgiris : The 10th edition of Annual chocolate festival began today at a private chocolate museum here.
The festival commemorated 150 years of formation of Nilgiris district this year. Exhibits reflecting the life and culture of people of Nilgiris were made using chocolate and displayed at the festival.

A chocolate replica of Stone House here is on display. Chocolate replicas on lives of tribal communities here like Dhodar, Panniyar and others are also at display at the festival.

The festival hosts various chocolate varieties prepared using the different flavours of tea like masala tea chocolate, black tea chocolate and green tea chocolate.

Chocolates using vegetables grown in Ooty like carrot, beetroot and spinach is also available at the festival. Visitors to the festival are advised on the benefits of dark chocolate. The festival is held till January 2nd.
