Coimbatore: Pravin Kumar of Nilgiris has petitioned seeking action against the 108 ambulance administration, alleging that it had flouted the Court’s order.
The petition filed by Pravin Kumar states, "I was working as a driver for 108 ambulance in Coimbatore from 2010. In 2015, I was fired from my job on a false accusation against which I filed a complaint with the Labour Welfare Board. After investigating both sides, the Labour Welfare Board ordered the 108 ambulance authorities to reappoint me. As the 108 ambulance administration delayed in implementing the order, I moved the High Court and the Magistrate ordered to re-appoint me as per the orders of the Labour Welfare Board.
Following this, when I went to report for duty, I was not allowed to pick up the ambulance. Hence, I urge the district administration to take necessary action against the 108 ambulance administration which has flouted the Court’s order," reiterated Pravin Kumar.
