Coimbatore : The three-day State meet of Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship will begin on 22nd December here. The events will be held between 22nd and 24th of this month at Hindustan College premises here.

The organizers said that the event will be inaugurated by Minister of Local Administration S.P Velumani on the 22nd evening. High Court judge Vimala, Ambassadors for various countries, Kerala Agricultural Minister Sunil Kumar, Indian National Congress Spokesperson Kushboo and various other leaders are expected to take part in the event.
Organisers said that cultural performances by various States including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Manipur, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and others will be held on the inaugural day. Organisers said that a delegates debate and seminar on ‘Gandhi’s importance today’ will be held on the second day. Puducherry Chief Minister Narayasamy, ex- Parliamentarian T Pandian and ex-MLA Arumugam will be participating in the event. A.V Varadharajan, former Secretary of CODISSIA and Drama artist Dileep Kumar will be presented Achiever’s award as part of the event.
