Lord Maneeswara graces as swaymbu lingam in the temple. Since 2000, temple car procession festival is held at the temple. This year, the festival began on 14th December hoisting the festival flag at the temple. Thousands took part in the temple car festival which started at 11 a.m today.
Shantilinga Maruthachala Adigal of Perur Adhinam and several HR&CE Board officials participated in the procession by drawing the rope of the car.
