According to the petition filed by the residents of the Thulithalai Naduhatti village near Ooty, more than 500 families are residing at Thulithalai Naduhatti village.
After petitioning multiple times, repair work on the Thulithalai-Pudhuhatti road had commenced seven months ago but at a very slow pace. Vehicles were not allowed to travel on this road for the past seven months due to which school students have had to walk for nearly 2 km to board their school buses. So, necessary action should be taken to complete the road work at the earliest, stated the petition.
