Tirupur: Rajarajan from Salem who has been cycling to create awareness on health and the need to preserve nature was given a rousing welcome by school students at Udumalpet.
Tirupur: Rajarajan from Salem who has been cycling to create awareness on health and the need to preserve nature was given a rousing welcome by school students at Udumalpet.
Rajarajan, a youngster from Salem district had begun a 40000 km bicycle ride in October 2017 to create awareness on health. After cycling through Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand, Rajarajan entered Udumalpet today enroute to Karnataka. At Udumalpet, he issued pamphlets to students on the motive of his bicycle ride.

Rajarajan now holds the Guinness record for cycling 20000 km, surpassing the record that was held by Benjamin of Australia who had cycled for 18000 km. Rajarajan is looking to cycle upto Jammu and Kashmir and then return to Salem.
