Tirupur : In view of the Vaikunda Ekadesi festival, the preparation of 10008 laddus is underway at the famous Perumal temple at Arisikkadai Street in Tirupur.
Thousands of devotees participate in the “Sorga Vaasal Thirrappu” and in the special poojas on the night of Ekadasi which falls on December 18, and the laddus that are prepared will be given to the devotees as “prasadam” on this auspicious occasion. About 100 devotees are engaged around the clock in preparing laddus in the temple kitchen.
