According to reports, a car with registration number TN 37 CJ 1632 was moving at high speed on Avinashi road towards Avinashi. As it reached near Hopes signal, the speeding car rammed against another ahead if it. Subsequently, unable to control speed, the speeding car rammed into other cars and two-wheelers.
Three car drivers and three two-wheeler drivers sustained minor injuries in this accident, among which 3 were admitted to a private hospital and one was admitted to the government hospital here. Police have registered case against the car driver and have commenced investigation.
