Yi's 'Smart City Hackathon' kicks off in style


Young Indians (Yi) an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have organised a 'Smart City Hackathon' at KGISL, Saravanampatti. A 30-hour building / learning platform where start-ups, professionals and students from various backgrounds come together, form teams, share ideas and help each other build innovative & smart projects.

IT (Mobile / Web Applications), IoT (Smart / Connected devices) and Engineering ( Infrastructure / Engineering) are the streams in which the participants can use their creative thinking can create or modify the existing protocols.

The event was jointly inaugurated by City Commissioner A. Amalraj, City Corporation Commissioner Vijayakarthikeyan, Dr.S. Rajasekaran, Director & Head, Dept of Orthopaedic & Spine Surgery, Ganga Hospital and Dr. Ashok Bakthavatchalam, MD, KGISL Ltd.









Mentors from varied sectors will be aiding the participants and enrich them with their expertise knowledge.
