GCT College's Tamil mandram hosts 'Muthamizh Vizha'

Government College of Technology's 'Tamil Mandram' today celebrated 'Muthamizh Vizha' a two-day cultural event at their college premise.



As part of the 'Muthamizh Vizha', various competitions and activities like folk dance, cultural songs, debates, elocution, art displays, posters were displayed at the event.



An interesting debate on the topic 'Who plays a crucial role in the development of the society, is it the Women or Men?' captivated the audience with television Fame T.K Subramaniam, as the moderator for the debate. 



J. Anbalagan Vijay, Organizer and Advisor of Tamil Mandram Club stated that Muthamizh Vizha is celebrated twice a year at the GCT College and also at Inter-college level. Students have been showing tremendous response and participation in the event, he added.



'Tamil Kalaikoodam' was also launched at the event, which will showcase Cultural tamil paintings , traditional handicrafts and diverse collection of Tamil literature. The two-day event will be concluded tomorrow along with a prize distribution ceremony for the winners and participants.
