Coimbatore Medical College hospital and Elite Science club jointly have installed an UV Drinking Water Treatment Plant at the Government Hospital.
District Collector N.Hariharan installed the UV Plant. The filter can hold upto 2000 litres of purified water and Rs. 4.5 lakhs has been spent towards installation of this project.
CMCH Dean Dr. Edwin Jo, Medical officer SounderVel and other Senior Officials were present at the function.
