Minister S.P. Velumani held a review Meeting to monitor City's progress


A meeting was held at the District Collectorate yesterday by Thiru S.P. Velumani , Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Implementation of Special Programme. 

The meeting was convened to monitor and evaluate the performance of various Government departments like Public works, transportation, education and forest department.. He inquired on the current ongoing developmental projects and the required action plans for the upliftment of the City.  

He detailed the authorities on the implementation of Chief Minister's special and unique welfare schemes curated for the people. Further, insisted the authorities to devise plans to constantly surveil that all welfare schemes reach the people in a timely manner.

District Collector T.N.Hariharan, A.K.Selvaraj MP, Rajya Sabha, A.P. Nagaraj MP, Pollachi V.Jayaram, Member of Legislative Assembly, Corporation Commissioner VijayaKarthikeyan, MLA's, District Revenue Officers, Sub Collectors, Panchayat Head, Town Planning Officers and government officials from various departments were present at the meeting.
