The Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., popularly referred to as 'Poompuhar' has been conducting handicrafts expo's featuring some of the unique and artistic products.
Corporation Commissioner Dr.K.Vijaykarthikeyan inaugurated the Craft Utsav on 4th August in JJ Hall, Race Course.
The expo aims to provide an opportunity for connoisseurs of Handicrafts to feature their creations.
Artisans, Member of Self Help Groups, Co-operative Societies showcase their unique handmade creations, brass lamps, precious stones jewellery, jute bags, Tanjore paintings, Rosewood Mandapam, Khadi textiles etc.,
