TN Chief Minister inaugurates Primary Health centres in Coimbatore


The Hon' Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J.Jayalalitha, inaugurated two primary health care centres at Chettipalayam and Kanjapatti through video-conferencing, on 5th August 2016.

A new Primary healthcare centre has been installed at Chettipalayam, which was a long-standing plea of the locals. The District Collector, Hariharan inspected the health centre to infer about the infrastructure and health services provided for the people. He also interacted with the people and apprised them about the special schemes launched by the Chief minister for the welfare of the people of TN.



A similar laudable initiative was launched at Periyapodhu, Kanjapatti, where the existing primary health centre was renovated to meet the current requirements of the people. The primary health centre was upgraded with 30 more beds, X-ray machines, Blood bank and would function 24/7. 

District Collector, Public Health Care Department Additional Director Maru Balasamy, Chettipalayam Panchayat leader Umarani Panchalingam, Chettipalayam Panchayat Union Asst. President were present during the inauguration.
