Defamation Case filed by Actor Vijay's Coimbatore Fan club head

Sampath Kumar, Actor Vijay's Coimbatore fan club head today filed a defamation case against Indian Foundation.

Indian foundation was supposedly presumed to organise a friendship day party on 7th August at a private star hotel in the city.

Sampath alleged that these organisations are defaming actor Vijay's name and are in the intend of serving alcohol at the party. 

He disclosed that John Amalan, an individual has been misusing actor Vijay's name and luring students that they could click a picture with the actor by paying ransom. After a complaint at the Singanallur Police station, the recent party organised by John was precluded, he stated. 

Hence Sampath filed a petition requesting the Commissioner to ban the party and also necessitate action for traducing their leader's name.
