TN Badminton Association terminates association with CDBA

Tamil Nadu Badminton Association (TNBA) has released a statement intimating the dismissal of the entity ' Coimbatore District Badminton Association' (CDBA) from its wing.

TNBA's Vice-President T. Maran reassured that 'Coimbatore Badminton Association' (CBA) is solely recognised and affiliated by them.

The CBA was formed a year back by a group of former State, National and International players with a foresight to develop the sport and players.

He further stated that the decision was taken after frequent complaints on CDBA for not amicably working with badminton players and CBA.

After scrutinising the accusations on CDBA from the players, TNBA has been forced to terminate their association & affiliation with CDBA.

Swetha Krishnamurthy, Secretary of CBA has stated that there is no personal grudge between CDBA & CBA but the former could have done a better job for the players.

However Shanti Rao, Secretary of CDBA has denied Swetha's statement but assured her participation in the club for betterment of the players.
