DMK Leader Stalin organised a 'Freshers meet' for new members at Coimbatore


MK Stalin, Opposition leader of DMK party today addressed the press at a meeting in Chinniampalayam.

The meeting was convened to facilitate new members from other parties to join DMK in the presence of the Party leader Stalin. He addressed the gathering and welcomed the new members who have choose to join the DMK party.

At the press meet, he put forth various allegations on the AIADMK government. 

1.The ruling party has failed to fulfil their election manifestos.

2. He reiterated that it was during the reign of DMK, many notable people welfare policies like rebate/cancellation of educational and agricultural loans were introduced.

3. He cited the death of Lenin, a student from Madurai who committed suicide due to immense distress and  pressure to repay his educational loan. 

4. The turmoil prevailing in the Department of Law & Order in TN has created a feeling of insecurity among the people, especially women.

5. He condemned the statement issued by AIADMK MP Sasikala Pushparaj, stated that the Speaker stalled the assembly members of DMK from posing questions on the issue.  The Chief Minister or the Speaker of the assembly should issue a statement on the issue, if not at least the Senior party members should clarify the issue, he insisted.
