Multiple Collisions messes traffic at L&T bye pass


The traffic at the L&T bye-pass from Neelambur to Eachanari came to a standstill for more than three hours due to multiple collisions at the wee hours of morning.

Reports indicate that a bus from Bangalore to Kottayam with 15 passengers while trying to overtake a vehicle, collided with a lorry coming from the opposite direction. 



This unexpected collision caused the second accident, another heavy truck carrying cement sacks collided with another lorry carrying similar goods. The driver and the cleaner however, escaped with minor injuries. 



This disorder created yet another accident(third accident), where a bus from Hosur collided with a lorry leaving injuries to more than 10 people. The injured were shifted to a nearby private hospital. 



The concatenation of collisions left the bye pass road in huge chaos and traffic halt.

The Chettipalayam Police are investigating the case.
