TN Chief Minister's reassuring statement consoles parents of athelete's at Turkey


The distressed parents of all the 11 students from Tamil Nadu who are currently in Turkey to participate in the ISF Gynmnasaide 2016 have seeked Government's intervention for the safety of their children and to expedite their return to India.

The internal coup situation in Turkey has left the parents of all 40 students in huge distress. 

On 16th July, a petition was filed at the Collectorate by father of Samyashree an athlete from Coimbatore pleading Tamilnadu State Government's intervention to ensure the safety of all the 11 students from Tamilnadu.

The chief minister of Tamilnadu J. Jayalalitha in a recent press meet reassured the parents of their children's safety and return from Turkey, which is seen as a huge sigh of relief for the parents. The entire nation is anticipating the safe return of all the 40 athletes.
