The indefinite strike by the lawyers demanding to withdraw the recent amendments to the advocate act is getting stronger everyday. The protesters have shown their agitation by burning the copies of amendment and pictures of the Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul at the combined court complex.
According to the reports, a group of advocates from the city have left to New Delhi to hold talks with the Supreme Court Justice Thakur, regarding the issue. The lawyers have planned to go for a sit-in protests from July 4th onwards.
