Coimbatore: All major areas in Coimbatore have been affected by power cuts due to the thunderstorms that lashed the city for a few minutes. Rain continues to come down albeit slowly in some areas.
Users have reported power outage in Peelamedu, Ramanathapuram, RS Puram, SaiBaba Colony, Kovai Pudur, Seernaikenpalayam, Chetty Veethi, Ukkadam, Vadavalli, Edayarpalayam and Thudiyalur.
Update: RS Puram, GCT College area, Narasimhanaickenpalayam, Vadavalli, Ukkadam, Koundampalayam, SRP Mills and Kuniyamuthur had power restored after we shared the article.
Gandhipuram did not undergo powercut at all tipped off a user.
