Officer arrested for collecting bribe of 400 rupees

Davidkumar, a resident of Sivanandhapuram area at Saravanampatti had devised a sensational and thought-provoking act by aiding to arrest a corrupted officer at the sub-registrar's office.

David has been knocking the doors of the sub-registrar office to get his birth certificate, for quite a few days. The officer in charge RajaMahendravarman, outwardly demanded a bribe of Rs.400, for issuing the birth certificate. The guiltless act of the officer put David in frustration and further pushing him to take the officer to task. 

He filed a complaint against the officer at the anti-corruption bureau. The squad took his complaint earnestly and planned to set a trap for the officer. They decided to execute the plan today, David was given 4 hundred rupee notes, coated with a special chemical to capture the finger prints of the officer.As expected, the officer took the bribe from David and issued him the certificate. The anti-corruption squad who were within close perimeters, entered the scene and caught him red-handed. 

After 3 hours of interrogation, the officer was proved guilty. He was taken into custody and  produced in court. The computer and printer from his table were also seized. The action-packed incident created shock waves around the place.
