Fraudulent case against Colleges reported by Physiotherapy Doctors Association

A forgery Physiotherapy College was bought to limelight to the concerned district officials by the Physiotherapy Doctors Association. They strongly allege that the district officials have been lethargic and have not taken any action against those colleges reported. Hence, they have decided to take the issue judicially.

Physiotheraphy is as important and an equivalent course compared to medical courses. But the saddening and shocking fact is that there a quite a few colleges in and around Tamilnadu, who do not comply with the rules and regulations set by the medical council. And the worser fact is that, there are few Physiotherapy colleges who don't have a proper registration at all. Those colleges get donations from students who have just passed 10th std and at times failed 12th std students too. No action or follow up has been taken by the district officials or by the local police even after repeated complaints.

"Henceforth, our association has decided to take the issue to the justice system" says Dr. Selvakumar, President, Coimbatore District Physiotherapy Doctors Association.
