Government bus captivated by students in Pollachi

In a recent incident that happened in Pollachi, college students captivated a government bus at the bus stand. The students got agitated as the officials did not pay attention to their plea of replacing a new bus for the damaged 6B bus.

Bus no 6B nearly covers 6 trips on the Orakaliyur, Bodipalayam, Kaliappan Goundanpudur route. During the peak hours in the morning and evening lot of college, school students and office goers travel through this bus to reach their destinations. The bus is said to be in a very bad state and hence gets into regular breakdowns which makes it difficult for the commuters to travel and often leaves them stranded midway.

Finally, the concerned officials promised the commuters a new bus shortly, after which the situation was cleared.
