Based on a tip-off, the Rathinapuri police arrested a 24-year-old Nagaland native near a public toilet close to the Shastri Road flyover in Coimbatore for allegedly possessing and selling 66 painkiller tablets for illegal use.

The Rathinapuri police arrested a 24-year-old man from Nagaland for allegedly possessing and selling painkiller tablets for intoxicating purposes near the Shastri Road flyover in Rathinapuri.
Police said Rathinapuri Sub-Inspector Gajendran received information that intoxicating tablets were being sold near a public toilet close to the Shastri Road flyover.
A police team conducted a search at the location and arrested Thanglenmang Hangsing, 24, a native of Nagaland, who was allegedly in possession of 66 painkillertablets for illegal sale.
The accused was later remanded in judicial custody.
