Coimbatore:
Students who missed the earlier application process for undergraduate and Diploma programmes offered by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and the Agriculture stream of Annamalai University will get another opportunity to apply through supplementary counselling for the 2026–27 academic year.
The online application window will remain open for three days, from September 5 to September 7, 2026, through the TNAU admissions portal. Eligible students can apply separately for UG and Diploma programmes.
For UG programmes, the application fee is ₹600 for OC, BC, BCM and MBC/DNC candidates, while SC, SCA and ST candidates will pay ₹300. For Diploma programmes, the fee is ₹200 for OC, BC, BCM and MBC/DNC candidates and ₹100 for SC, SCA and ST candidates.
Students who passed through the supplementary examination, those who had not previously applied to TNAU, and those who started but did not complete or submit their earlier application can apply. However, students who are already on the TNAU general counselling rank list need not apply again; applications submitted by such candidates will be rejected.
A separate rank list will be prepared for applicants under the supplementary counselling. Vacancies remaining after the general counselling will be filled through this process, and applicants will be considered only for those available seats, irrespective of their overall marks. The admission rules specified in the information brochure will continue to apply.
