VIBGYOR High Coimbatore and Cycle Lounge organised a drug-free society awareness cyclothon with students, parents, cyclists and community members. The event featured messages from Lydian Nadhaswaram and G. D. Vishnu Raam, followed by music performances.

VIBGYOR High, Coimbatore, in association with Cycle Lounge, organised a Drug-Free Society Awareness Cyclothon to promote awareness about the risks of drug use and encourage young people to adopt healthy and active lifestyles.

The initiative brought together children, adults, parents, cyclists and members of the community around the message of making positive lifestyle choices and supporting a drug-free society.

The event was attended by musical prodigy and multi-instrumentalist Lydian Nadhaswaram and endurance cyclist and fitness advocate G. D. Vishnu Raam. Their messages focused on fitness, discipline, positive choices and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Dhanush MP, entrepreneur, influencer, model, cyclist and fitness coach, and Sekar B, entrepreneur and cycling enthusiast, also participated in the event and extended their support to the awareness initiative.

The cyclothon was flagged off by Boby Mathew, Principal, VIBGYOR High, Coimbatore, and Lydian Nadhaswaram. Participants then took part in the cycling event carrying the message of building a drug-free society through awareness and healthy activities.

The cyclothon was followed by a music concert by Lydian Nadhaswaram. VIBGYOR High Coimbatore's school band, CRECENDO, also performed during the programme, showcasing the musical abilities and creativity of its students.

The school said the initiative was part of its efforts to provide students with learning experiences beyond academics and encourage them to make healthy choices and participate in activities that promote social responsibility.

The event also brought together families, young participants and members of the cycling community, creating a platform to promote fitness and awareness through community participation.

The organisers said creating a drug-free society requires collective participation and that awareness, fitness and positive opportunities can help young people make healthier lifestyle choices.

The programme concluded with participants reinforcing the message of choosing healthy and purposeful lifestyles and contributing to efforts towards a drug-free society.
