Coimbatore Corporation has announced that road repair works will be undertaken by the Corporation and Highways Department in Trichy Road, Mettupalayam Road, Satyamangalam Road, and Avinashi Road areas where pipeline laying work under the 24x7 water supply project has been completed.
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation has announced that road repair works will soon be undertaken in areas where the 24x7 drinking water supply project works have been completed.
Under the 24x7 water supply project, drinking water pipeline laying works are currently underway on national highways including Trichy Road from Potthees to Ondiputhur flyover, Mettupalayam Road from Avinashilingam College to ITI, and Satyamangalam Road from Ukkadam bus stand to Ramakrishnapuram.
Additionally, on the state highway Avinashi Road, pipeline laying works are being carried out on both sides of the road from Uppilipalayam to Chitra. The tar road sections excavated for these works will be repaired soon.
The Corporation has officially announced that road repair works will be undertaken on national highways by Corporation contractors through the Coimbatore Corporation, and on Avinashi Road through the Highways Department.
It is expected that the public will get relief as the roads damaged due to drinking water pipeline laying works will be repaired soon.
