EASA College of Engineering & Technology in Coimbatore organized an IEEE Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive on 31 July 2026. E-Faws IAS Academy Founder M. Rajkumar delivered the keynote address, inspiring students about innovation, leadership, and startup opportunities available through government initiatives and funding programs.
Coimbatore: The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at EASA College of Engineering & Technology (ECET), an Autonomous Institution, successfully conducted an IEEE Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive on 31 July 2026 at the college Seminar Hall. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup opportunities in the current business landscape.
The event was jointly organized by the IEEE Student Branch, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), and the IEEE Region 10 Ad Hoc Committee on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The collaborative effort brought together various stakeholders to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
M. Rajkumar, Founder & CEO of E-Faws IAS Academy, CEO of E-Faws Tech Services Private Limited, and Managing Trustee of E-Faws Charitable Trust, delivered the keynote address. He shared his entrepreneurial journey with the students, offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in the startup ecosystem.
During his address, Rajkumar emphasized the importance of innovation, leadership, problem-solving, and perseverance in building successful startups. He provided detailed information about various government initiatives designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs, including startup funding opportunities and career prospects available in the entrepreneurship sector.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members. The interactive question-and-answer segment allowed participants to engage directly with the resource person, clarifying their doubts and gaining practical insights into entrepreneurship. The programme successfully encouraged students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and motivated them to transform their innovative ideas into successful business ventures.
