Ward Councillor Inspects Library and Sewage Maintenance in Peelamedu

Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Danapal conducted field inspections of full-time branch library operations, sewage blockage repairs, and cleaning work in Peelamedu area under Singanalur constituency, providing direct guidance to sanitation workers for improved civic amenities.


Coimbatore: Ward Councillor Ambika Danapal of Ward 27, Singanalur Assembly Constituency under Coimbatore Corporation's North Zone, conducted extensive field inspections of various public welfare works and provided direct guidance to concerned officials.

The councillor first visited and inspected the full-time branch library operating in Peelamedu Duraisammy Naidu Layout area. During the visit, Ambika Danapal thoroughly reviewed the library's operations and examined the public attendance register in detail. Library staff were present during this inspection. The councillor ensured that the library was providing excellent service to the public.



Subsequently, sewage blockage repair work was carried out using an air compressor lorry in Peelamedu Kurumbar Street area. Ward Councillor Ambika Danapal personally monitored this operation on-site. She directed sanitation workers to completely clear the sewage blockage. This work was undertaken with the objective of ensuring that residents live without any difficulties.



Furthermore, the councillor inspected the ongoing sewage cleaning work in Peelamedu Thookkinaar Street area. She instructed sanitation workers to thoroughly clean the entire sewage system. Ward Supervisor Easwari accompanied the councillor during this inspection.



It is noteworthy that all these works are being completed swiftly with the aim of ensuring that residents live in a clean environment.
