Road Construction and Cleaning Works Carried Out in Peelamedu, Coimbatore's Ward 27

Coimbatore Corporation North Zone Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Dhanapaal inspected new tar road construction, mass cleaning operations, primary health centre facilities, and school area sanitation works in Peelameedu, ensuring quality implementation of civic development projects for public welfare.


Coimbatore: Ward 27 Councillor Ambika Dhanapaal of Coimbatore Corporation's North Zone conducted extensive inspections of various development works being undertaken in the ward, providing necessary instructions to ensure quality implementation.




New tar road construction work is currently underway in the Surya Garden area of Peelameedu. Councillor Ambika Dhanapaal personally visited and inspected the ongoing work today. She instructed the contractor to ensure quality road construction without causing any inconvenience to the public. Ward Assistant Engineer Kumar accompanied her during the inspection.






Similarly, mass cleaning operations are being carried out intensively in the Duraisamy Naidu Layout area of Peelameedu in Ward 27. Sanitation workers have been instructed to completely remove roadside plants, garbage, and clean drains thoroughly. Through this initiative, comprehensive cleanliness maintenance work is being undertaken in full swing across the area.






Councillor Ambika Dhanapaal today visited and inspected the Corporation Primary Health Centre operating in the Peelameedu Bharathi Colony area under Singanallur Assembly constituency. During the visit, she thoroughly examined the public visitor register and children's immunization records. Medical officers and nurses were present during the inspection and provided necessary clarifications.






Additionally, residents complained that tree debris had not been removed from the area in front of Sri Gopal Naidu Higher Secondary School in Peelameedu. Following this, cleaning work was immediately initiated. Councillor Ambika Dhanapaal, who personally inspected the work, gave firm instructions to the ward supervisor to remove garbage and tree debris daily, considering it is a school area.






It is noteworthy that various development and sanitation works being undertaken in Ward 27 continue to be carried out for the welfare of the public.
