Coimbatore Corporation Fines Commercial Complex Rs 5,000 for Unauthorized Posters in Singanalur

Coimbatore Corporation officials removed unauthorized advertisement posters illegally pasted on public walls in Singanalur, Ward 61, East Zone. A private commercial complex was fined Rs 5,000 for the violation along Trichy Road area without prior permission from civic authorities.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore Corporation has taken strict action against advertising violations in Singanalur area along Trichy Road, Ward No. 61 of the East Zone. Officials discovered advertisement posters of a private commercial complex illegally pasted on public walls without obtaining necessary permissions.




According to Corporation regulations, prior approval is mandatory before pasting advertisement posters on public walls. Putting up posters without such authorization constitutes a violation of civic rules. During an inspection conducted in the Singanalur locality, officials found that advertisement posters promoting a private commercial complex had been pasted on public walls without permission.




Corporation staff immediately swung into action and removed the unauthorized advertisement posters. Additionally, the owner of the establishment responsible for the violation has been slapped with a penalty of Rs 5,000. This action serves as a warning measure to deter unauthorized advertising practices in public spaces.




Coimbatore Corporation is strictly enforcing such regulations to preserve the city's aesthetic appeal and maintain cleanliness standards. Corporation authorities have stated that continuous monitoring and action will be taken against those who paste advertisements in public places without authorization. The civic body remains committed to keeping the city's public spaces free from illegal hoardings and posters that mar the urban landscape.
