The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several areas under the Mill Kovilpalayam Substation limits due to monthly maintenance works.
According to officials, maintenance activities will be carried out at the Mill Kovilpalayam Substation from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.
As a result, power supply will remain suspended in Mill Kovilpalayam, Senguttupalayam, N.G. Pudur, Perumbathi, Mullupadi and Vadakkipalayam during the maintenance period.
Residents and commercial establishments in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to avoid inconvenience during the scheduled shutdown.
Power supply will be restored after the completion of maintenance works, electricity board officials said.
