Councillor Inspects Various Cleaning Works In Peelamedu, Coimbatore

Ward Councillor Ambika Dhanabal led comprehensive cleanliness operations across Peelameedu areas in Ward 27, Singanalur constituency. The drive covered Kalki Nagar, Gopal Nagar, and Jeganathapuram, focusing on roadside garbage removal, sewage maintenance, and assessment of civic amenities provided to residents.


Coimbatore: Intensive cleanliness operations are underway in Peelameedu area of Ward 27, North Zone, Coimbatore Corporation, under the Singanalur Assembly constituency. As part of this initiative, Ward Councillor Ambika Dhanabal personally visited various locations to inspect and monitor the cleanliness activities.



In Kalki Nagar, garbage accumulated along the roadsides was cleared today. Councillor Ambika Dhanabal visited the site personally to inspect the work. She instructed sanitation workers to ensure complete removal of all roadside waste.



Along Avinashi Main Road, from Sri Tirupathi Venkatajalapathi Nagar to Manal Bridge, accumulated garbage and soil deposits along the roadsides were removed. Councillor Ambika Dhanabal personally inspected these operations. She directed the sanitation workers to ensure thorough removal of all roadside waste.



In Gopal Nagar, stagnant sewage sludge and accumulated garbage along the roadsides were cleared today. Ward Councillor Ambika Dhanabal personally visited and inspected the work. She emphasized to the sanitation workers that sewage sludge and garbage must be completely cleaned, and the work should be completed swiftly without causing inconvenience to the public.



In Jeganathapuram area, Councillor Ambika Dhanabal personally inspected whether the battery-operated auto for daily garbage collection was operating regularly. Subsequently, she enquired with residents about various civic services. She gathered information from the public about whether saltwater supply was regular, whether freshwater supply was being provided once in six days as scheduled, whether sewage cleaning was being done properly, whether street lights were functioning correctly, and whether mosquito fogging was being conducted once a week.
