TNAU Offers One-Day Mushroom Cultivation Training on June 5

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University's Plant Pathology Department is conducting a one-day mushroom cultivation training on June 5, 2026. Training fee is Rs.850, with a discounted rate of Rs.590 for students. Participants will receive certificates upon completion.


Coimbatore: The Department of Plant Pathology at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is organizing a special one-day training program on mushroom cultivation on June 5, 2026 (Friday). Farmers, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in mushroom cultivation are invited to participate in this comprehensive training session.

The training program will be held at the training center from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Interested participants can attend by registering on the day of the training itself. The session will cover fundamental techniques of mushroom cultivation, modern methods, marketing strategies, and income generation approaches in detail.

The training fee has been set at Rs.850. College students can avail a special concessional rate of Rs.590 by submitting valid student identity cards or other relevant identification documents. All participants will be awarded a participation certificate upon successful completion of the training.
