15 More Police Stations in Coimbatore District Receive ISO Certification

In recognition of its continued commitment to people-centric and quality policing, 15 additional police stations across Coimbatore district have been awarded ISO certification, taking the total number of ISO-certified police stations in the district to 20.


Coimbatore: 15 more police stations in the district have been awarded ISO certification. With this achievement, a total of 20 police stations in Coimbatore district have now attained ISO-certified status.

As part of this effort, ISO certification was awarded on May 21, 2026, to 15 police stations in Coimbatore district for their excellence in aspects such as police station administration, service quality, complaint management, document management, cleanliness and public approach.


Accordingly, Anaimalai, Valparai, Perur, KG Chavadi, Madukkarai, Karunya Nagar, Alandurai, Thondamuthur, Chettipalayam, Perianaickenpalayam, Komangalam, Sirumugai, Negamam, Karumathampatti and Vadakipalayam police stations have received ISO certification.


Earlier, Sulur, Pollachi Taluk, Pollachi East, Mahalingapuram and Thondamuthur police stations had already received ISO certification. With this, a total of 20 police stations in Coimbatore district have now risen to ISO-certified police station status.


Coimbatore District Police have appreciated the police station inspectors, officers and police personnel who achieved this milestone.


Furthermore, under the guidance of the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police, it has been stated that the district police are committed to continue providing high-quality policing services and security measures to the public.
