Coimbatore: Annual maintenance work on the gates and machinery at Bhavani Barrage, located in the Samayapuram area of Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district, is being carried out by Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation.
Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran personally visited and inspected the maintenance work today. He instructed officials to complete the maintenance work swiftly to ensure that drinking water supply to the public remains uninterrupted under the Corporation's Billur-3 drinking water project.
During the inspection, Chief Engineer Vijayakumar, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board Executive Engineer Pattan, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Assistant Executive Engineer Ramshankar, Assistant Executive Engineers Sathyamoorthy and Ezhil, and Assistant Engineers Jeyinraj and Sakthivel were present.
