350 Surveillance Cameras Inaugurated in R.S. Puram Area – Coimbatore City Police

In a major step towards strengthening public safety and preventing criminal activities, 350 surveillance cameras have been installed and brought into operation in the R.S. Puram area of Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: The CCTV cameras were installed with the support of the public and in collaboration with private organizations.

Around 350 surveillance cameras have been set up in and around R.S. Puram at key roads, junctions, and crowded public areas. The cameras will enable police officials to closely monitor activities and respond swiftly to incidents.

According to Coimbatore City Police, the surveillance system will play a crucial role in proactively preventing crimes and quickly identifying offenders if any incident occurs.

Police officials have also appealed to the public to extend full cooperation towards safety and security initiatives.
