Karpagam Pharmacy College Convocation 2026 Celebrates 325 Graduates

Karpagam Pharmacy College held its convocation ceremony on May 2 at Oththakkal Mandapam in Coimbatore. Dr. V. Kalaiselvan, Secretary and Scientific Director of Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, was the chief guest who conferred degrees to 325 graduates including B.Pharm, Pharm.D, and M.Pharm students.


Coimbatore: The convocation ceremony of Karpagam Pharmacy College was held with great distinction on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Oththakkal Mandapam in Coimbatore. The event was presided over by Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, Chairman of the college, while Professor S. Ram Kanth, Principal of the college, chaired the function.



Dr. V. Kalaiselvan, Secretary and Scientific Director of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), graced the occasion as the chief guest and conferred degrees to a total of 325 students - 242 B.Pharm graduates, 66 Pharm.D graduates, and 17 M.Pharm graduates.



Awards and medals were presented to students who secured top marks in university and GPAT examinations. In his address, the chief guest emphasized the crucial role pharmacists play in ensuring the quality, safety, and sustainable use of medicines.



The convocation was also attended by Murugaiya, Chief Executive Officer of Karpagam Educational Institutions, Dr. Mohan, former Principal of the college, along with professors, parents of students, and their relatives.
