Coimbatore: AIADMK candidate Amman K Arjunan intensified his election campaign in the Ramanathapuram region, covering multiple localities under Ward No. 66 of the Coimbatore South Assembly constituency. The extensive door-to-door campaign covered Kondasamy Layout, Puliyakulam, Anna Nagar 1st, 2nd and 3rd Streets, Amman Kulam North area, G.H. Colony 1st and 2nd Streets, Amman Kulam Road near AIRTEL Office, Rajiv Nagar, Old Housing Unit, Erimadu First area, New Housing Unit, Erimadu Second area, and Balasubramaniam Nagar.

During his campaign, Arjunan highlighted the financial difficulties faced by families due to rising inflation and increased tax burdens under the current DMK government led by Chief Minister Stalin. The AIADMK candidate emphasized that over the past five years, prices of essential commodities have risen sharply, severely affecting the common people's daily lives.

Arjunan pointed out that various taxes including property tax, house tax, electricity charges, and water tax have been significantly increased, causing household expenses to multiply manifold. He criticized the DMK administration for its lack of administrative efficiency in controlling inflation and managing essential services.

The AIADMK candidate outlined his party's promise to provide Rs 10,000 as special relief assistance to every family to help them cope with the increased cost of living and tax burden. He urged voters to support the Two Leaves symbol in the upcoming elections to bring relief from the current economic hardships.

Arjunan was accompanied by AIADMK executives and party workers during the extensive campaign. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from party members who engaged directly with residents, explaining the party's welfare schemes and gathering public feedback about their concerns regarding rising living costs.

The door-to-door initiative is part of AIADMK's broader strategy to connect with voters at the grassroots level and present their alternative governance model focused on economic relief and administrative efficiency.
