Foundation Stone Laid for Road Construction Project in Jadayampalayam Panchayat, Coimbatore

MLA A.K. Selvaraj inaugurated a Rs. 4.30 lakh concrete road project in Veerasamy Nagar, Jadayampalayam Panchayat on October 15. The project is funded by Union Councillor Gopalakrishnan.


Coimbatore: A new road construction project was launched in Jadayampalayam Panchayat on Tuesday (Oct. 15). The project, which involves laying a concrete road in the Veerasamy Nagar area near Veerabhadra Swamy Temple, is estimated to cost Rs. 4.30 lakhs. The funds for this development initiative have been allocated from the budget of Union Councillor Gopalakrishnan.

Mettupalayam MLA A.K. Selvaraj officiated the groundbreaking ceremony, performing the Bhoomi Puja to mark the commencement of the construction work. The event signifies a step forward in improving local infrastructure and enhancing connectivity for residents in the area.

Several local officials and dignitaries were present at the inauguration ceremony. Among those in attendance were District Councillor P.T. Kandhasamy, Union Chairman Manimegalai, and Union Secretary Rajkumar. Their presence underscored the importance of this project for the local community and the collaborative effort involved in bringing it to fruition.

This road construction initiative is expected to significantly benefit the residents of Veerasamy Nagar and the surrounding areas in Jadayampalayam Panchayat.
