Actor Vijay Projected as Tamil Nadu CM Candidate for 2026: TVK Meeting Resolution

Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam's Udumalpet city leadership passes resolution declaring Actor Vijay as certain to become Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in 2026, during a consultation meeting held in Udumalpet, Tiruppur district.



Coimbatore: The Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) has passed a resolution declaring that actor Vijay, the party's leader, is certain to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 2026. This declaration was made during a consultation meeting of the party's Udumalpet city leadership in Tiruppur district.

The meeting, chaired by Udumalpet city president Raman, saw the participation of various party functionaries and members. Tiruppur South District President Sankar presided over the event, offering guidance to party workers.



Discussions at the meeting centered around the party's first state conference to be held in Vikravandi, Viluppuram district. Party members were advised on how to attend the conference while adhering to government regulations. Special pujas were also performed at Kamakshi Amman Temple, Vinayagar Temple, and Sivan Temple for the success of the Viluppuram conference.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, G.K. Sankar, Tiruppur South District President, stated, "We discussed the preparations for TVK's first state conference in Viluppuram. Guidelines were provided on how to follow government rules, given the expected large turnout." He added, "Currently, Vijay is a good leader living for the people of Tamil Nadu. Public and officials from other parties are ready to join Vijay's party. We are certain that Vijay, the leader of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam, will become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in 2026."

The meeting was attended by various party officials including Thirumalai, Tiruppur South District Volunteer Team Leader, Hariharan, Tiruppur South District Student Wing Leader, and several local administrators from Udumalpet and surrounding areas.
