Ministers Inaugurate Development Projects Worth Rs. 101.3 Million in Mulanur Panchayat Union, Dharapuram

Ministers Saminathan and Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated 20 development projects worth Rs. 101.3 million in Mulanur Panchayat Union near Dharapuram, Tirupur district. The projects include road works, bus stands, and healthcare facilities.



Tirupur: Ministers M.P. Saminathan and Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inaugurated 20 development projects worth Rs. 101.3 million in various parts of Mulanur Panchayat Union near Dharapuram in Tirupur district. The groundbreaking ceremony (Bhoomi Pooja) was held under the leadership of L. Padmanabhan, DMK Secretary of Tirupur South District and Chairman of the Fourth Ward Committee of the Corporation.

The development projects span across several areas, including Pattathipalayam (Rs. 1.9 million), Karuppan Valasu (Rs. 3 million), Manalur (Rs. 29.7 million), Kandhasamipalayam (Rs. 2.5 million), Ayigoundanpalayam (Rs. 4.2 million), Malamadu (Rs. 3.9 million), Lakshmi Nagar (Rs. 3.5 million), and Polarai (Rs. 52.5 million).



The projects include the inauguration of a Women's Cooperative Milk Producers Association, opening of a Primary Sub-Health Center, laying of tar roads, renovation of damaged tar roads, construction of bus stops, and groundbreaking for an overhead water tank. A children's park was also inaugurated as part of the development initiatives.



Minister for Information and Publicity M.P. Saminathan and Minister for Human Resource Development Kayalvizhi Selvaraj participated in the event and performed the Bhoomi Pooja for various projects.

The ceremony was attended by several local officials and party members, including Sumathi Karthik, Chairman of Mulanur Panchayat Union Committee; Palanisamy, Vice Chairman of Mulanur Panchayat Union Committee and Eastern Union Secretary; Durai Tamilarasu, Western Union Secretary of Mulanur; Suresh, Kannivadi Town Party Secretary; Revathi Suresh, Chairman of Kannivadi Town Panchayat; and Makkal Thandapani, Chairman of Mulanur Town Panchayat and Mulanur Town Party Secretary. A large number of DMK executives and public also participated in the Bhoomi Pooja ceremony.
